| 英文摘要 | This paper evaluates the primary school grade 1 'life course' textbooks and the teacher's menu of the first topic of study visual arts activities which are published by 'Kang Hsuan' and 'Han Lin'. It is based on the viewpoint that 'textbooks should be designed for learning' as proposed by scholars Chambliss and Calfee (1998), as well as the evaluation indicators of the arts and humanities textbook from the Ministry of Education. The author reckons that both publishers didn't implement a 'student-centered' viewpoint to design the content, structure and the activities. The textbooks are simple and easy to teach, and both books have a similar content. The books lack pictures of famous artwork, while there are only comic illustrations with text description. It neither allows students to expand their horizons, nor to enhance their aesthetic accomplishments. |
