中文摘要 | 本文關注環境教育的背景脈絡,以詮釋學的論題「一個部份的意義,只在它與整體有所關連時,方能被理解」,呼籲應更深地探討環境教育的脈絡、背景及內涵概念,才能理解它的角色定位。文中首先剖析環境保護面向及教育面向本身存在多元的看法及實踐,環境教育者彼此間亦擁有不同的看法及作法。其次,從環境教育發展的歷史脈絡,顯示時代議題的轉變,環境教育重點不斷更動,然議題尚未解決,因此內涵不斷的增加,使得環境教育展現複雜、多元的樣貌。接著,文中剖析各類的環境教育以及現今推動的永續發展教育其背後的環境觀及教育觀以及其實踐方式。昀後,筆者批判近年臺灣政府的環境教育正式文件,欠缺背景脈絡的敘述。盼本文的剖析,有助環境教育者對環境教育的背景脈絡的理解,反思自己的環境觀、教育觀及環境教育觀,並能促進環境教育者對彼此觀點的認識與尊重,甚至對話找尋共同點結合、獨特點各展所長。 |
英文摘要 | This thesis concerns the context of the Environmental Education and paradigmatic concepts in environment educations. According to the assertion “the meaning of a part should be understood with the connection with the whole,” the author explores the background and context of the environmental education and the paradigmatic concepts in the environmental educations. First, this article outlines the types of paradigms of environmental protection and education. The viewpoints of environmental educators from different fields about environmental protection and education could be different among them. Second, the emphases of environmental education in different periods were changing when the author traced the history and the development of environmental education. The various environmental education programs had their own particular viewpoints. Finally, the author critiques the official documents of environmental education in Taiwan were lack of its background description and hard to understand its meanings. The author hopes this article could help readers to clarify their own paradigmatic concepts about environmental education and respect each other and find their common ground for collaboration and their uniqueness for developing their profession. |
