中文摘要 | 本研究乃綜合臺灣豐田地區閃玉礦床之初步調查結果,以及整理過去臺灣閃玉之相關研究提出,有待進一步釐清或討論的課題。一是臺灣閃玉出現在片理發達之片岩和蛇紋岩間,經常夾雜礫狀片岩和塊狀的透輝石岩一起以透鏡體或變形的塑性礫岩出現於剪切帶中。剪切帶之蛇紋岩表面出現了大量的纖維狀葉蛇紋石,指示蛇紋岩受到強大的摩擦滑移作用。接觸帶之片狀蛇紋岩呈現黑色,磁性礦物含量較多且有順向排列之現象,顯示有強大的應力作用。此區由東至西,岩層片理發達的程度逐漸減少,且剪切帶中變質礫岩大小由中礫轉變為粗礫,顯示區域應力作用由東至西逐漸減弱,可能是閃玉在東側產量較多的主因。此外本研究未來將針對與閃玉伴隨出現生成在相同層位之透輝石岩進一步研究,探討如何在此剪切帶上出現溫度較高且不含水之透輝石礦物。就閃玉顏色區分,東邊的理新礦場產出的閃玉顏色偏向翠綠色至深綠色,中間的山益礦場顏色變化較多,西側的天星礦場顏色偏灰色。前人研究指出閃玉中翠綠色乃鉻含量較高,而深綠色乃鐵含量較高,顯示東邊的閃玉可能含有較高的鐵和鉻,意味著蛇紋岩溶出之成份比例較高,可能與東邊應力作用或溫度較高有關,未來有待進一步研究。 |
英文摘要 | This study gives preliminary results relating to occurrences of nephrite jade at a typical mine located in Fung-Tian, Hualian, Taiwan. Results from this mine are combined with those of previous studies on nephrite and serpentine in this region. The study provides new evidence and lists several meaningful research topics. Main mineral occurrences in the nephrite metasomatic zone were well interlaid with schist and serpentinite minerals. The area is a shear zone with metasomatic belts typically abutting lumped diopsidite and brecciated schist. Moreover, shear-zone nephrite and diopsidite exhibit lens or elastically shaped occurrences. Between serpentinite and schist, fibrous antigorite like slickenside is formed at the surface of serpentinite. This is indicative of serpentinite bodies experiencing strong sliding friction. Schistose serpentinite near the shear zone is black in color and rich in magnetic minerals. Further, its minerals are aligned in parallel indicating strong strikeslip stress on the rock body. Rock characteristics of schistosity in the region decrease in grade from east to west, and the grain size of meta-breccia changes from medium to coarse grain. Evidence of this type indicates regional tectonic forces decreasing in intensity from east to west. For this reason, output of nephrite is greater toward more easterly mines. Future study is aimed at researching water-free diopsidite, which occurs adjacent to nephrite. The goal of this research will be to discover how higher temperatures and water-free diopside mineral bodies occur in a shear zone. In terms of color, nephrite in the more easterly mines tends to be more greenish and darker, while nephrite in the central mines is more varied in color. In the westerly mines, nephrite is more grayish. This grading of nephrite by color is not definitive as it is based purely on the collected samples. Previous research shows that bright greenish nephrite is caused by chromium ions and dark green nephrite by iron ions. Accordingly, nephrite of the more easterly mines owes its coloring to higher iron and chromium contents. These are likely contributed by serpentinite. This may also imply the easterly mines are of a higher temperature gradient and tectonic stress. This issue requires further study. |
