中文摘要 | 大學實施通教育旨在培養大學生涵育人文與科技兩種文化,發展知識與人格的統整性。針對我國新竹師院等十所不同性質的大學;美國哥倫比亞等九所大學;日本東京大學等九所大學,實施通育的理念、實施方式與內容、未來展望與困境,進行三個國家二十八所大學實施通教育的實際探析。綜合探究與分析結果獲致以下三個結論:第一、各國名校引領通識教育的實施;第二、通教育建構大學全人格的教育內容;第三、通識教育發展大學生的社會責任。根據結論,本研究提出以下五點問題做深層思考:(一)通識教育目的:是否完全落實全人教育?(二)通識教育課程:是否符合各科際領域延伸?(三)通教育規劃:是否因應各校性質調整?(四)通識教育實施:是否創造學校文化特質?(五)通識教育評估:是否確實建構評鑑指標?期望本研究對於我國大學實施通識教育的規劃與實踐,能力實質的助益。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of general education in universities is to cultivate the two cultures of humanities and science-technology and to develop the integration of knowledge and personality for college students. In this research, the concept, ways, contents and future outlook of the implementation of general education of total 28 universities, including 10 Taiwan universities, 9 American universities, and 9 Japanese universities, are reviewed. Three conclusions are drawn as follows. 1.The famous universities of each country lead the implementation of general education. 2.General education constructs the educational contents of complete personality for universities. 3.General education develops social responsibilities for college students. According to the conclusions, 5 questions are brought up for in-depth thinking in the flowing: 1.Does the aim of general education totally substantiate whole education? 2.Does the curriculum of general education match the extension of scientific and technological domains? 3.Is the programming of general education adjusted according to the nature of each university? 4.Does the implementation of general education create special school culture? 5.does the evaluation of general education truly construct evaluation indictors? It is hoped that the findings of this research are helpful to programming and practice of implementing general education in the universities of our nation. |
