中文摘要 | 本研究針對通識教育的重要性、終身學習歷程的影響、知識型社會的來臨、專業教育的延後,以及大學通識教育的需求,探討大學通識教育的理論基礎。綜合探究與分析結果獲致以下五個結論:(一)通識教育的重要性在於:大學教育普通化、通識教育普及化、大學教育適性探索:教育自由化學習趨勢、高等教育擴充型態、自動化的DIY意識、自我控速的獨立學習;(三)就知識型社會的來臨而言:學校是知識學習正式組織、學校教育提供通才學習、高級知識在通才教育後才獲得;(四)專業教育的延後的必要在於:專業教育宜在研究所安排課程學習、延後分流提供專業教育學習基礎;(五)大學通識教育的需求反映在:通識教育目的係培養大學生經驗整合與整全式判斷力,以及大學通識、專門、專業課程設計宜採拼行式的課程組織類型妥為安排。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this research is to explore the theoretical foundation of general education in universities through the importance of general education, the influences of the process of lifelong learning, the coming of knowledgeable society, the postponement of professional education, and the need of general education in universities. Five conclusions are drawn in the following: 1.The importance of general education lies in the generality of universities, the generalization of general education, the adaptive exploration of the education of universities, the relevance of curriculum integration, the importance of program, and the extension of socialization progress 2.The influences of lifelong learning progress reflects the learning trend of educational freedom, the expanding prototype of higher education, the consciousness of automatic DIY, and independent self-paced learning. 3.On the coming of knowledgeable society, schools are the formal organization of knowledgeable learning; the education of schools provides general learning; and superior knowledge is acquired after general education. 4.The necessity of the postponement of professional education lies in professional education should be planned in graduate level, and streaming provides the learning foundation for professional education. 5.The need of general education in universities reflects in the purpose of general education is to cultivate college students integrated experiences and whole judgement; and the general, special and professional curricula in universities should be well planned according to consecutive curriculum organization type. |
