英文摘要 | The absurd which causes a conflict between the human longing for meaning, and the seemingly indifferent and meaningless universe. In Chinese history, Wei, Jin and North-South dynasties were the most miserable age. To resist the pressure and stress which came with ‘absurd’, the scholars had various tries to release their spirit, although to be naked was the most controversial way, it expressed their desire of freedom. Albert Camus, experiencing the World War I & II, thought that a war not only destroyed substantial environments, but also caused people losses of mind and body. Therefore, either the scholars in Wei and Jin dynasties who faced the ethics corruption, or Camus, who witnessed the value of human beings destroyed by chaos during the wars in the mid-twentieth century tells us that absurd is everywhere in an unstable age. How to get rid of ‘absurd’? Those scholars were aware of ‘absurd’ at that time, then used ‘naked’, a radical way ‘against’ it, to show their position. However, could the controversial ‘naked’ action shelter them from the difficulties? This issue bases on Camus’ theory ‘absurd’ to discuss the meaning and motivation of the scholars’ nude in Wei and Jin dynasties. |
