英文摘要 | The welfare right of handicapped people in Taiwan has been upgraded a lot in the past ten more years. We assumed that the promotion of educational level would improve those handicapped individuals' quality of life. Some universities, including the Fu Jen Catholic University, have opened the arms for those special students. For better understanding those graduates of Fu Jen in job market and expecting to promote the service plan in the near future, we research team have approached 74 graduates at the time of January to October 2006 and talked with 18 who were in job market then. The end results of our research are: 1) more handicapped graduates to be professionals highly related to their training in college: 2) higher payment compared to the average salary of the handicapped adults; 3) more autonomy in those interviewees' daily life; and so on. However, more we have to do to create the better life for more handicapped students. One is to build up the transitional services in school and by government: secondly, we could create the warm environment in college to integrate the handicapped students with the student population in general; thirdly, we could promote the interaction between students and enterprises on campus. In all, the college life presents the vision for handicapped students. It is precious for all of us. |
