中文摘要 | 包覆層下腐蝕問題(CUI)於國內外石化工廠已存在非常久的時間,但至今仍然是問題不斷的發生,不論國際上或臺灣的規範裡皆無明確的規定使用何者檢測方法才可有效率的檢出此CUI的腐蝕。故各公司只好建立適合自己的CUI腐蝕檢測策略,而檢測策略的有效性及如何建立一直困擾著大家。而臺灣中油公司為求確保檢測策略的有效性並有效的防止CUI的發生,杜絕因CUI發生的工安事故,特別選擇了一條CUI風險非常高的管線,總長200公尺進行導波檢測技術的驗證評估,除此之外我們還進行彎管處的波傳研究了解彎管對導波訊號分析的影響。驗證結果為導波技術在中度腐蝕以上的缺陷檢出率可達到83.8%,檢測有效性已獲得證實;但腐蝕發生在管支撐旁、彎管上及大面積均勻腐蝕中時,則應利用拆掉包覆層或放射線輪廓照相的方式來進行,藉以防止嚴重腐蝕之輕判。本公司已依研究驗證的結果修訂相關規範中的檢測策略規定,明確規定導波及放射線輪廓照相的使用場合來取代拆除包覆層的策略,不但解決操作現場在最高風險管線CUI檢測執行上困擾的問題,並可消除CUI潛在的危害,且讓工安與生產得以兩全。藉由本文在CUI檢測可靠度的評估及所建立的檢測策略,在國際上無適合資料及規範引用之下,可以供業界參考引用,希望困擾臺灣石化業的CUI檢測策略問題能獲得解決。 |
英文摘要 | The corrosion under insulation(CUI) is a corrosion issue of a long time history in international or local petrochemical plants, and continues to occurs until nowday. There are no domestic or international test standards specified to inspect for CUI. Therefore, companies create their own CUI inspection strategy to meet their own requirements, but how to create the effective strategy has been always a problem. To develop the erective CUI inspection strategy and to prevent CUI-caused accidents, CPC corporation particularly choose a pipeline with very high risk in CUI, of total length about 200 meters, to evaluate the reliability of the guided wave technology. In addition, we also study the impact of the pipeline's elbow on the guided wave signal. At the moderate corrosive defect, the detection rate of the guided wave technology can still up to 83.8%. This high detection rate confirms the detective effectiveness. However, in order to prevent the missing of the detection on severely corrosive regions, i.e. elbows, near supports and a large area of uniform corrosion, we must remove the insulation or use the radiography-testing-profile (RTP) method to inspect corrosion. According to the results of this study, CPC corporation has revised its own CUI inspection strategy and clearly defined the proper occasions for the usage of the guide wave technology and RTP. The revised CUI inspection strategy not only solves the difficulty on the execution of CUI inspection for the pipe of the highest risk, but also eliminate potential hazards caused by CUI. This strategy let industrial safety and production reconciled. |
