中文摘要 | 顏面外傷清創手術中,異物移除是重要處理步驟之一。臨床操作初步以X光作評估,進一步以電腦斷層乃至核磁共振影像輔助異物之定位後處理。若於術中無法有效定位時,可考慮使用術中超音波定位,作為深層異物移除的輔助工具。本病例為一個嚴重顏面創傷,造成碎玻璃刺入於右側頰間隙及顳下間隙,術前以電腦斷層檢查及處理後,術中以超音波輔助異物再定位,將急診未發現之深部異物取出。術後追蹤,病人恢復良好,無感染、異物殘留及顏面神經麻痺等併發症。 |
英文摘要 | Traumas involving foreign bodies in the soft tissues are a frequent problem in human medical practice. In such cases, detection of the foreign body is an important aspect of retrieval, and plain film radiography is necessary to identify its location and characteristics. Depending on its characteristics, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), or ultrasonography is used to identify its exact location. Herein we present a case of penetration injury to the facial region, with residual radiolucent and radiopaque foreign bodies, and describe the use of ultrasonography in the management of foreign bodies in soft tissues in this case. This case report describes an alternative option for the detection of foreign bodies, and emphasizes the importance of performing intra-operative ultrasound examinations on patients with injuries, which may reduce the possibility of lawsuits following clinical surgery. |
