| 英文摘要 | The objective of this study is to quantify the attenuation of megavoltage photons through carbon fiber couch at various angles, field size and energies. At normal incidence(180°), the couch attenuated 6 MV photon by 2.8 %, 2.3 %, 2 % and 1.8 % for 5x5 cm^2, 10x10 cm^2, 20x20 cm^2 and 30x30 cm^2, respectively. And that 10 MV photon were 1.8 %, 1.4 %, 1.1 % and 1 %, respectively. We further found attenuation at same field sizes to be various gantry angle dependent, with the highest attenuation recorded at 120° at which angle the couch attenuated, the 6 MV photon beam by 5.8 % for the 10x10 cm^2. Similarly, the 10 MV was 5.1 %, respectively. In 10x10 cm^2 field size, at oblique incidence couch attenuated by 5.8 % and 4.9 % for 6 MV and 10 MV, respectively. These results demonstrate the carbon couch attenuation for individual posterior oblique fields can be excess 5 % depending on the beam energy and field sizes. If the couch model are inserted into the Treatment Planning System (TPS) and calculated dose. And comparison between measured and TPS computed dose differences were within 3 %. |
