中文摘要 | 為改善臺灣數位落差的問題,教育部自2007年起擴大結合偏遠學校資源,設置「數位機會中心」(簡稱DOC),擬提供家長與民眾資訊近用機會、並增進其資訊素養與應用。本文描述學校設置DOC的目的和功能,調查偏遠國中、小學校學生家長個人的資訊近用、資訊素養和資訊應用情況,以及探究學校設置DOC對於家長的資訊應用程度有無顯著的差異。本研究問卷調查943所偏遠學校的學生家長,計回收23,467份,以描述性統計與t 檢定分析問卷資料。 結果顯示,偏遠學校家長曾使用電腦且有上網經驗的比率僅有54.3%,應用電腦發電子郵件、電腦簡易故障的排除、進行文書處理等的使用比例皆不高。而有設置DOC的鄰近學生家長,家戶有電腦、連網比率都較無設置DOC為低。但在學校設置DOC對家長使用電子郵件、上網找資料和網路設定使用上,確實頗有助益,有設置DOC學校的家長也較常使用線上傳呼軟體、經常上網瀏覽部落格、經營個人部落格、自行設計網頁等的應用,且亦經常上網提供知識或經驗給他人參考。最後,建議DOC仍可結合學校適度開放服務家長,但政府有關單位應規劃指導DOC營運,以有效提升偏遠學校設置DOC的效益,達成資源共享的目標。 |
英文摘要 | In order to improve Taiwan's digital divide issue, the Ministry of Education set the “Digital Opportunity Centers” (DOCs). Since 2007. the plan of DOC has combined with expanded resources in remote schools, provided opportunities for parents and citizens in information access, and promoted information literacy and application. The main purpose of this article is to indicate the mission and function of the DOCs. Additionally, the survey in remote country schools regarding parents' personal usage of computer, information literacy and information applications. This investigation also explored whether there are significant differences existing between those parents' information application in the schools having DOC and those in the schools having no DOC. The target of the questionnaire was those parents in 943 remote schools, and 23,467 questionnaires in total were collected. The study adopted t test statistical analysis to examine the data. The results showed that the computer usage rate of those parents in remote schools was 54.3%. In addition, the amount of computers with internet in the schools set DOC is less than the amount in the schools set no DOC. Households without a computer networking parents, but there are many items of the questionnaire, such as using email, internet, and blog, showed that those parents' information literacy and application in the DOCs are higher than other parents. Finally, combining the school resources to set DOC is recommended to be conducted. However, in order to enhance the effects of DOC and to achieve the aim of resource sharing, it is important for the government to direct the operation of DOC. |
