英文摘要 | People usually think that political propaganda means thought control and deception, however, it's not all like that. Investigations about the literature and art works in the period of "Cultural Revolution" shows us that those are still very popular in China today. The propaganda art in "Cultural Revolution" still have repercussions, on the one hand, because these works are engraved with the major public's emotional experience, on the other hand because these works objectively meet the spiritual needs of the public. The above two factors may explain why people today in mainland China have mixture feelings of love and hate to MAO zedong and his era. |
