中文摘要 | 本論文基於長程演進網路技術(Long Term Evolution Network),提出一量測回報方法。根據觸發回報條件的不同,回報型態可大致分為事件觸發(Event Trigger)與週期性觸發(Periodical Trigger)兩種。本論文根據事件觸發類型的量測回報,提出一改良機制。此機制可以達到正確判斷使用者移動狀況、根據正確移動狀況調整觸發條件、避免不必要回報、動態調整回報週期效果。此外,藉由此量測回報機制可改善換手延遲以及減少因不必要的回報而產生之電力耗損。量測回報機制中的主要元件包括訊號偵測器(Signal Monitor)與時間評估器(Timer Estimator),訊號偵測器可正確判斷用戶設備的移動狀態,時間評估器則對時間器(Timer)可以做正確的調整,以適應不同時間器間設定時間長短的改變。本論文提出測量用戶端裝置移動速度之演算法,並且依據不同的移動速度動態調整時間器的時間參數,以減少基站換手判斷時間與量測回報次數,達到有效節省用戶端裝置電力消耗的效果。除此之外,正確調整時間器的時間設定,以避免不必要的回報情形發生,可提升系統整體效能。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, we propose a measurement report mechanism based on the technology of LTE (Long Term Evolution Network). According to different report conditions, reports can be classified into two types: Event-Triggered Reports and Periodical Reports. The timing to trigger reports is important. Short report timing results in many unnecessary reports and thus a waste of power. On the other hand, a long report timing yields faulty handover decision and thus may cause a long handover delay. To optimize the system performance including the handover delay and power consumption, we propose an improved measurement report mechanism based on the report type. The mechanism adjusts the event trigger timings and periodical report timings by determining user's mobility state the major components in this mechanism include Signal Monitor and Timer Estimator. Signal Monitor determines the UE’s mobility state, while Timer Estimator can adjust the timer to adapt the change of different timers' settings. In brief, this paper proposes an algorithm to measure the UE's mobility, and adjusts the timer's parameters according to different mobility state to decrease the handover latency and save power. |
