中文摘要 | 關於明末清初中國回回的伊斯蘭知識狀況,學術界目前主要從“經堂教 育"和“以儒詮經"的漢文譯著兩個方面開展研究,涉及的大多是穆斯林“文人階層"的“書面知識"。本文討論與文人的關注有相當距離的穆斯林坊間大眾層面的狀況,試圖從另一種角度表現伊斯蘭知識在中國的發展。本文利用《岡志》和《經學系傳譜》等史料,從研究明代萬曆到清代康雍年間中國各地穆斯林坊間教爭出發,認為經過明代幾百年的發展,中國內地回回社會已經形成了一種本土化的伊斯蘭教知識。這些知識中既包含對伊斯蘭教基本原則的堅持,又存在中國伊斯蘭教早期發展封閉環境中的“自造"。這不僅展現出歷史的複雜多樣性(bifurcated history),而且用中國伊斯蘭史的個案,回答了雷德菲爾德(RobertRedfield)“大傳統"、“小傳統"理論帶來的新的理論追問。 |
英文摘要 | Previous studies on Islamic knowledge during the late Ming and early Qing periods has paid much attention to Chinese Muslim intellectuals’ written knowledge and their activities in the Madreases (the Islamic schools) and Islamic translation and compilation. This paper discusses Islamic knowledge of that period from another perspective, religious disputes among the Muslim masses in the Chinese Muslim neighborhoods and tries to reveal the stste of Islamic knowledge at the grass-roots of Muslim society. Historical materials show that Chinese Muslims insisted relied on the main principles of Islam when they created some unique religious practices in an isolated environment during the Ming Dynasty. This not only supports to Prasenjit Duara’s theory of bifurcated history, but also provides some answers to the theoretical questions raised by Robert Redfield. |
