中文摘要 | 本文運用教育領導認知取向研究(特別 是校長思考研究)的初步研究成果,討論其 如何運用在國中小校長領導專業發展的設計 上。首先,校長認知取向有關校長思考的相 關研究初步發現主要包括:一、增加思考的 替代方案有助於提升校長作決定的合理性、 二、養成正式書面紀錄的習慣,可做為未來 思考與解決問題的參考、三、校長最好能避 免過多「快速反應」的決定,以提升思考層 級、四、校長可找尋他人協助,排除思考盲 點、五、校長也需努力協助同仁,建構學校 成為「具有反思能力」的社群、六、「持續 改善」的概念有助於提升學校領導實踐、以 國中小校長專業發展: 教育領導認知取向初步研究成果的應用 林明地/國立中正大學教育學研究所教授 及七、校長思考的改變常發生於校長觀察學 校日常生活與反思之後。其次,本文提出 一、培養校長發現問題、解讀問題並解決 問題的知能、二、協助校長運用多元架構進 行思考與問題解讀、三、改變校長「先有答 案」的問題解決習慣或模式、四、教導校長 理解並強化作決定所運用的價值及其與情境 脈絡的關聯,以及五、協助校長觀察、反思 與解釋的技巧,使決定與思考模式的改善成 為可能等五個方向,做為校長領導發展方案 或課程設計的參考。 |
英文摘要 | Utilizing the contemporary research findings of the cognitive perspective on educational leadership, especially in the principals' thinking area, this paper discussed their applications to the design of principal leadership development. The findings of the literature indicated that increasing alternatives will increase the rationality of principals' decisions, developing a good documenting habit will enhance principals' abilities on problem solving, preventing instant responses will upgrade the level of principals' thinking, asking others' opinions will help principals to get rid of blind spots of thinking, principals have to help the school to build the reflective schools, the idea of continuous improvement is helpful to improving the principals' leadership practice, and observations and reflections will help principals to change their ways of thinking. The author provided several suggestions to the design of principal leadership development programs. These include helping principals discovering, interpreting and solving problems, developing principals' abilities on the way of the multiple-framework thinking, changing principals' habits on instant responses to problems, teaching principals to realize the connections between values, contexts and decisions, and helping principals to be good at observations and refl ections. |
