中文摘要 | 利用高功率大型基地台(Macro eNB)與低功率微型(Pico eNB)/超微型基地台(Femto eNB)混合佈建的網路架構,被稱作異質網路(Heterogeneous Network, HetNet)。為了解決HetNet中高功率與低功率基地台間同頻干擾問題,LTE Advanced提出了增強型細胞間干擾協調(Enhanced Intercell Interference Coordination, eICIC)的機制,透過近乎空白子訊框(Almost Blank Subframe,ABS)的設計,讓鄰近基地台協調不傳送資料的子訊框,以減少干擾。然而,ABS子訊框的設計,卻會對訊號覆蓋範圍邊界(Cell edge)的使用者裝置(User Equipment, UE)產生異常換手行為的副作用。原因在於LTE UE會量測服務基地台與鄰近基地台的參考信號接收品質(Reference Signal Received Quality,RSRQ),並回報給服務基地台,讓服務基地台決定該UE是否需要換手。然而,UE量測到空白子訊框時,由於干擾源較少,所回報的RSRQ值會過於樂觀,因此產生不正常換手行為。本論文針對量測到ABS子訊框的UE提出偵測RSRQ回報值異常且修正RSRQ回報值的機制,藉此改善HetNet內UE異常換手的情形,減少不必要的換手動作。 |
英文摘要 | A network architecture consists of high power Macro eNBs, Pico eNBs and Femto eNBs is called the Heterogeneous Network (HetNet). In order to reduce interference between eNBs in the HetNet, LTE Advanced proposes a mechanism to solve inter frequency interference between macro eNB and pico eNB in the HetNet, which is termed Enhanced Intercell Interference Coordination (eICIC). However, the design of Almost Blank Subframe (ABS) in the eICIC mechanism may cause abnormal handovers to user equipments (UE) in cell edges. Since an ABS of a neighbor eNB is configured to transfer no data, the channel quality during the frame becomes better and thus and less interference. However, it misleads the measurement of an LTE UE about to better RSSI and RSRQ values, which causes, abnormal handovers. Consequently, this paper proposes a mechanism that uses the layer-3 Radio Resource Management (RRM) function of an eNB to detect and correct abnormal RSRQ and RSSI values. This mechanism can alleviate the load imbalance happened in the HetNet and thus enhance the capacity of the overall network system. |
