| 中文摘要 | 基於演化概念的啟發,特別是對於基因演算法運作原理的深刻體認,本文提出的論點是:根據基因演算法的「模式」定理可知,如果把越是熱賣的產品拿來做為越多後續產品的設計藍本,也就是說採用比例性選擇(複製),則可以預期會提升整體銷售量並演化出最佳(或最受歡迎)的產品。我們稱這種根據基因演算法運作原理的設計為「優生型」產品設計系統。此系統主要是針對產品種類多、生命週期短、變化快的市場,例如成衣市場、餐飲市場、清潔用品市場與消費性電子市場等等。此系統與其它各種產品設計的方法,包括基因演算法,最大的不同是在衡量的部分;其它方法是從構造、功能、成本等方面來衡量所設計的產品,而此系統則是以市場接受度,即實際銷售量,為衡量標準。換句話說,此系統並非是要取代其它各種設計方法的功能,因為它們可扮演設計第一代新產品的角色,而此系統則是扮演設計後續產品的角色。背後的意涵是我們要以市場為師,讓基因演算法模擬這看不見的一隻手,實現市場導向的產品設計概念。 |
| 英文摘要 | Inspired by the concept of evolution, especially by a profound perception of genetic algorithms, the argument we presented in this paper is: based on the schema theorem of genetic algorithm, if we use the more hot-selling products as blueprints of the more follow-up product design, i.e. proportional selection (copy), we can expect that it will increase the overall sales and evolve the best (or most popular) product. We call this as a eugenic product design system that is based on the principle of genetic algorithm. This system is mainly for those markets with many kinds of products and short life cycle, such as the clothing market, food market, cleaning supplies market and the consumer electronics market, etc. The main difference between the method of this study and other design methods is in evaluation; other design methods evaluate their designed products from the view points of structure, function and cost, but this study is from the view point of market. In other words, this system is not designed to replace the function of other design methods. The latter can play the role in the design of the first generation of new products, while the former is designed to play the role in the design of the follow-up products. The meaning behind this is that we should take the market as a teacher, let the genetic algorithm simulate this invisible hand, to achieve the concept of market oriented product design. |
