中文摘要 | 高性能碳材料由於高強度、耐高溫等一系列優異的性能,因此在國防、煉鋼、煉鋁及航空等領域的應用日益擴大。由於碳材料本身是多孔材料,因此在其增密過程中的浸漬瀝青,在成本及品質考量下,須具備有適中的軟化點、高結焦值或殘碳率與絕佳的流變性能。不同於煤焦系列,石油基瀝青本身具有低喹啉不溶物等的優秀原料性質;另外,在綠色環保考量下,石油瀝青較煤焦瀝青對環境更有善且較無毒害。在本研究中,使用中油公司重質油為原料,以熱處理方法製備浸漬瀝青,探討其轉化反應的溫度對於成品的性能參數的影響。同時,成品的浸漬性能,以過濾坩鍋法測量之,並與商用品做討論比較。目前中油公司已有能力製備出具適中軟化點(100~130℃)、高結焦值(>45%)以及好流變性能(160℃黏度~2,000 cps)的高品質浸漬瀝青。在未經任何改質程序下,其滲透率(平均70%)高於市售改質品(最高59%);真實結焦值(30~40%)也高於市售改質品(最高30%),具有非常優秀的浸漬性能,在市場上將是具相當競爭力的優質商品。 |
英文摘要 | High performance carbon materials are widely used in the fields of steelmaking, defense and aerospace industries due to their high mechanical properties. Since raw carbon materials are porous, the impregnating pitch is used to enhance their intensity and density in couples of impregnating cycles. A good impregnating pitch should have a moderate softening point, high coking value or carbon yield, and good rheology behavior when considering the cost and quality. Petroleum-based pitch is a better feedstock than coal-tar pitch, in terms of low quinolone insoluble, low impurities, and eco-friendly to the environment. In this study, we applied thermal treatment to our feedstock, the heavy oil CPC004, to make an impregnating pitch. The effect under the reaction temperature on properties of impregnating pitch is discussed, and its performance in impregnating is characterized by the permeability measurement.We have produced a high quality impregnating pitch with a moderate softening point (100~130℃), high coking value (>45%) and a proper viscosity at 160℃ (avg.~2,000cps). Our unmodified products have better permeability (avg.~70%) and higher real coking value (30~40%) than other modified products in the market (max~59% for permeability and max~30% for real coking value). These promising characteristics will make our impregnating pitch a competitive product on the market. |
