中文摘要 | 本研究以小學自然領域為範疇,經文獻探討瞭解百年來教科書演進之背景,再以電學為取樣單位,分析封面及編輯宗旨,巨觀地回顧民國元年迄今,教科書記錄了哪些時代背景及科學教育的發展,最後整理插圖的運用,以進一步微觀地探討小學自然領域教科書,百年來展現之特色如何回應時空背景。結果顯示,小學自然領域教科書之封面與編輯宗旨隨歷史演進反映出我國科學教育由重視科學知識、國家需要,逐漸轉為注重兒童發展、培養學生思考及問題解決能力。而教科書之插圖亦反應了教育心理學之思潮,逐漸以簡化電線拓樸形狀、增加實物圖片、實驗流程圖及裝飾性圖片等協助學生克服學習困難及提升興趣。此外,教科書雖反映了科技革新軌跡但略有落後科技之虞。 |
英文摘要 | The scope of this study was science textbooks in primary school. After literature reviewing to understand the history and background of a centenary evolution and development of science textbooks, a topic of electricity was selected as an example. An analysis for covers, editorial aims with illustrations was conducted to view the relation between textbook editions and historical backgrounds with developments of science education. The use of illustrations in electricity topics explored the centenary evolution of primary school science textbooks with specific concepts further. The results showed textbook covers, editorial aims with illustrations reflect a historical evolution of times. They also expressed the science education in Taiwan changed its focus from science knowledge and national needs to children development and students’ thinking intelligence as well as a problem-solving ability. This study also finds the selection of science teaching materials are echoed the aims of student-centered, valuing students’ study interests and difficulties by simplied the topology of electric wires, incread physical pictures, experimental flow chart, and decorative pictures. In addition, the textbooks indeed reflect the technological innovation trajectory but are slightly lagging behind technology. |
