中文摘要 | 鋰電池具有很好的儲電效能,基本上充放電次數可達1000次以上,而國內純電動車的電池組其循環週期明顯降到兩三百次,甚或不到一百次,使業者極為困擾。眾所皆知溫度對鋰電池是最大的致命傷。電池芯極耳設計不良或電池組裝技術瑕疵,幾乎佔整個電池組內阻的一大半,現階段沒有一套標準的方法來檢查或減低其內阻,導致電池以外的電阻成為主要熱源而不自知。另外,啟動與停止瞬間或車輛加速與減速瞬間,電池組會產生3~5倍的湧浪電流,這個小於200微秒的高電流脈衝,可能會對電池組造成不良影響,目前國內外檢測單位與規範並沒有詳加規定和量測。本研究針對上述問題,將一一找出原因,研創出量測技術及改善方法。 |
英文摘要 | Lithium ion secondary batteries have good performance of energy storage and long charge-discharge life-cycle. Usually, the life-cycle of a good Li-battery is over 1,000 cycles if a battery is used under proper conditions. In Taiwan, most of the life-cycle of Li-battery modules for EV applications is around 200 to 300 cycles only. In some worst cases, the life-cycle even is down to 100 cycles. The low life-cycle issue will cause problems for battery makers and users. It is a well-known topic that operation under high temperature is the key issue which affects the over-all performance of Li-batteries. High temperature of battery module is due to high electrical-thermal resistance of battery cell or module itself. The poor design of foil electrodes and improper assembly may cause high electrical and thermal resistance. For EV applications, high current pulse due to transitorily starting or stopping EVs may create 3 to 5 times of inrush current. The pulse width of the inrush current is less than 200 ns but it can have serious impacts to battery modules. To date, there is no standard for criterion to define the procedures of verifying the quality of Li-battery modules in Taiwan. In this study, we investigate the possiblesolutions for the previous issues. A standard of measuring Li-battery modules is proposed in this paper. |
