中文摘要 | 近年由於節約能源的考量,以低耗能燈取代傳統鹵素機車頭燈已成趨勢,其中機車頭燈安規之光型部分目前主要以設計反射罩來達成規範,但反射罩會降低整體照度約40%。本研究探討含二次光學元件之LED陣列之光型設計,研究所用之LED透鏡是透過最佳化設計的全反射透鏡(TIR Lens),此透鏡可使LED聚光而提升燈具之照明效率,為達到財團法人車輛檢測中心之ClassB(排氣量=125cm^3)之光型, 本研究使用LightTools軟體進行蒙地卡羅光跡追蹤,後與實際於積分球內量得之結果進行數據驗證,最後設計全反射透鏡與設計後之凸透鏡陣列,由模擬結果得知,此設計可符合光型外,並達到相同照度下之耗電量較低,且節省反射罩製作成本,因此證明LED陣列照明燈具可應用於機車頭燈,以改善耗電效能。 |
英文摘要 | Replacing the traditional light-bulb with the lower energy consuming LED has become a trend because of energy conservation consideration. Most motorcycle headlights use reflector to achieve the light pattern standards; however, the reflector reduces the total illuminance by 40%. This study investigates the light patterns of secondary optical elements for LED and the lenses used are optimized TIR (total internal reflection) lenses which increase illumination efficiency by focusing the light-rays emitted from the LED. To achieve the ARTC (Automotive Research and Testing Center, Taiwan) light pattern specification for Class B motorcycles (engine displacement = 125cm^3), a commercial software package, LightTools, was used to implement Monte Carlo ray tracing for the LED lenses. The result of simulation was then compared with the integrating sphere measurement data to confirm the properties of the TIR lens and the LED lens array. The result indicated that the design not only conform the light pattern specs but also lower the energy consumption of the headlight and eliminates the costing LED reflector. Therefore, the LED lens array can be used for motorcycle headlight to improve energy efficiency of the light-ware. |
