中文摘要 | 全球暖化議題已引起世界各地的關注,而教育是解決環境問題的有效策略之一。我國面對此一重大議題,在教育策略的規劃上應做出什麼樣的調整?本研究主要探討大學生面對全球暖化所採取環境行動及環境認知、情意變項的現況,並探索大學生面對全球暖化議題而採取環境行動之重要影響因子。以問卷調查法收集全國大專校院學生的意見,回收有效問卷599份。結果顯示大學生全球暖化的環境行動不積極,尤其是缺乏法律與政治行動,認知、情意變項中等到不足。此外,環境敏感度、自我效能感、環境行動策略知識、涉入與全球暖化的知識是預測環境行動的重要因子,但全球暖化議題知識的影響呈負向。其中環境行動策略知識是影響環境行動的重要因子,不僅可直接影響環境行動,亦可透過環境敏感度和自我效能感間接影響環境行動。根據本研究結果,對於我國環境相關教育策略規劃及未來研究提出建議。 |
英文摘要 | Global warming has raised concern worldwide. Education is an effective approach to solving environmental problems. What kind of educational strategies does Taiwan have to face this major issue? This research aims to explore the type of actions that college students take to reduce global warming, their status of cognition and affective variables, and essential factors that influence college students to take action against global warming. A survey was conducted on college students from around Taiwan, and 599 questionnaires were valid. The results show that college students are not proactive on taking action to reduce global warming. They are especially lacking in political action, legal action, and show a moderate to weak affective variable. Furthermore, environmental sensitivity, self-efficacy, knowledge of environmental action strategies, involvement, and knowledge of global warming are important factors in predicting environmental action, but the effect of having knowledge of global warming has a negative correlation. Knowledge of environmental action strategies is an important influential factor on environmental action. Not only does it affect environmental action directly, but also indirectly through environmental sensitivity and self-efficacy. Based on these results, this research proposes recommendations for environmental education strategies in Taiwan and suggestions for future research. |
