| 英文摘要 | Introducing Best Available Technologies (BAT) into the petrochemical industry may save global energy 5.2EJ or 15% per year. Other measures, such as the processes enforcement and integration, the entensive uses of Combined Heat and Power (CHP), the waste plastic recycling and energy recovery lifecycle optimization can additionally save 5EJ annually. However, there are many serious impediments that limit the potential development of this theory. In order to reduce the future carbon dioxide emissions in this sector, a series of new technologies must be developed and successfully applied. These measures include a new olefin production process, for example, the wider uses of catalyst, film and other new separation process, the procedure enforecement and the development of biomass-based chemicals and plastics. In addition, it is necessary to develop Carbon Capature and Sequenstration (CCS) for the manufacturing processes of ammonia and ethylene as well as the large-scale CHP applications. Because most of the carbons are stored in the chemical and petrochemical products, the lifecycle approach applied in this sector is particularly valuable. According to International Energy Agency (IEA) statistics, the energy-saving potential of the global chemical and petrochemical industries is about 10 EJ/yr by the Best Practice Technologies (BPT). The country with the greatest energy-saving potential is the United States, about 2.7 EJ/yr. The important BPT with their energy-saving potentials are: process heat savings (45%), waste recycling and energy recycling (22%), CHP (20%), electricity savings (8%), and the process enforcement (5%). |
