中文摘要 | 當今的大學中,學生和老師變得更加多元。多元化及包容化已經變成許多大學最普遍的願景和目標。總體來說,現在的大學已經從傳統的學術象牙塔轉變為整合其自身願景目標跟社會國家需求的高等教育機構,並推行國際化,一種必備的發展及策略,來教育新世代大學畢業生擁有國際視野,願意和所處的大學和國家以外的世界往來溝通。本文目的在論述這些趨勢,並且對在此脈絡下的大學定位和重新定位提供建議。尤其,本文企圖分析大學改變知識的功能,從傳統的知識發現模式逐漸轉變為知識分享的角色,而當前的知識創造即是以此種方式創造。此外,傳統知識所有權的概念也在大學終生學習部門機構化的過程中被挑戰。 |
英文摘要 | The university of today are becoming diversified both in terms of the student body and the faculties, and thus diversity and inclusivity have become one of the most common descriptors in many of the universities' vision and mission statements. Overall the university of today by and large has moved from the traditional ivory tower into a higher institution integrating their vision and mission with societal and national needs, having adopted internationalization one of the requirements and strategies to equip a new age of university graduate who would possess international perspectives, open to exchange and communication with the outside world beyond the university and the nation. The purpose of this paper is to outline trends, and suggests the implication for university positioning and re-positioning in this context. In particular, this paper attempts to analyze the changing knowledge functions of the university, from its traditional mode of knowledge discovery to an emergent role of knowledge sharing and engagement and knowledge is being created in this process. In addition, the traditional knowledge ownership is also being challenged in the process of the institionalization of the unviersity's lifelong learning arms. |
