中文摘要 | 在學校管理中,校長有哪些「領導拉力」將教師凝聚一起?本研究的目的是透過文獻蒐查及回顧,以及實徵的數據研究來引證他們的存在,及檢視他們的運用如何影響教師的日常工作感受。數據是透過兩份自製的問卷—「學校價值問卷」及「教師學校生活感受問卷」—向來自34所香港小學1,148位教師收取。本研究發現領導的拉力基本上可分為四種:「科層拉力」、「文化拉力」、「緊控拉力」和「鬆控拉力」,及它們的運用會對教師的日常工作產生不同的影響。香港學校的領導和行政人員有需要認識這四種領導拉力及它們在優質的學校行政和管理中所產生的作用。 |
英文摘要 | What are the leadership forces that hold school organizations together? Attempts were made to develop observable indicators for the latent constructs of leadership forces in school management and to examine their effects on teachers’ feelings about organizational life. Two instruments, the School Values Inventory (SVI) and the Teachers’ School Life Questionnaire (TSLQ), were created and developed for this study. Based on data collected from 1,148 teachers from a randomly-selected sample of 34 primary schools in Hong Kong and after a series of tests with factor analyses, the four scales of leadership forces, namely, bureaucratic linkage, cultural linkage, tight coupling and loose coupling, in primary schools were confirmed. An implication of the study is that school leaders should learn the four major forces in school organizations and should understand their effects on teachers’ school life. |
