英文摘要 | In contrast to the completion of the civil works and electrical & mechanical systems of the Xinzhuang line New Taipei City section, the construction of Xinzhuang Depot and the Xinzhuang bulk supply substation cannot be completed in the short term. The strategy of partial service being opened up on the Xinzhuang line New Taipei City section has not only helped alleviate traffic congestion, it also has made up for losses caused by the delay of construction of Xinzhuang Depot. As the public relies heavily on Taipei MRT services, and are expecting the new section will offer the same high quality as the current in-service routes, it is certain that any operation failures or a lack of system reliability will result in a public outcry. Taipei MRT is a system with very complex interface challenges, and therefore any plan for modifying an operation program has to go through a careful and widespread discussion. The plan for partial service to be opened up on the Xinzhuang line New Taipei City section from Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station to Fu Jen University Station encountered two major problems: 1. A lack of support from Xinzhuang Depot and the bulk supply substation, 2. The need to make Fu Jen University Station temporarily perform the role of a terminal station. DORTS and TRTC have put great effort into assessing the situation and developing workaround solutions. This paper collects relevant discussions and their conclusions together for future reference. |
