英文摘要 | This study utilizes a two period model of durable goods to investigate how the foreign manufacturer chooses the retailing modes, and how this decision affects the domestic agent profit, the consumer welfare or the social welfare. Coase conjecture does not exist with the introduction of agents. Furthermore, neither the production nor the marketing cost affects Coase conjecture. Besides, the manufacturer profit of homogenous products is not necessarily increased by the expansion of retailer agents, which depends on the market scale of the consumer country and the manufacture's production cost. However, the increase of retailer agents definitely enhances the domestic consumer welfare and social welfare, but the agent profit shrinks due to fierce market competition. Therefore, retailing mode choice of the foreign manufacturer is pondering over the production cost and the marketing cost. |
