| 英文摘要 | Distance and Angular measurements are the most fundamental types of observations in surveying. Computing coordinates from the distance and azimuth is commonly termed as direct computation; while reverse computation indicates deriving distance and azimuth from coordinates.This note discusses different solution schemes for the error propagation from coordinates to azimuth. A question taken from a previous government exam is used as the sample for illustration. The effect from omission of covariance and concepts of the significant figures are also discussed. |
