中文摘要 | 臺灣的扶老比自民國100年的6.80比1,預計至民國128年將降到1.96比1。目前臺灣18-21歲年輕人的大學就學率達八成以上,且我國各大學校院普遍實施兩年必修體育課,應用所學指導他人可以產生最佳學習成效。本文回顧規律運動預防癌症、心血管疾病、糖尿病與高血壓等各類老化有關之慢性疾病與抗老化之研究證據,並以世界衛生組織的建議為基礎,提出長者規律運動之方式與指導長者規律運動模式,作為我國大學發展培養大學生指導自家長者規律運動之教學內容時之參考,期望教育大學生養成終生規律運動的知識與技能外,也能加入指導自家長輩規律運動習慣的教學內容,培養我國大學生具備指導自家長者運動促進身體健康的知能,降低老年人各種老化疾病的發生,減輕整體健保負擔,對未來我國快速老化社會,必能有意想不到的助益與好處。 |
英文摘要 | In Taiwan, old age dependency ratio is 6.80 to 1 in 2011, and will become 1.96 to 1 in 2039. For now, more than 80% of young people between the age of 18-21 are enrolled in colleges, and most colleges in Taiwan adopt a two-year required physical education. One of the best ways to learn is learning through teaching. In the present article, we reviewed scientific evidence of the effects of physical activity on preventing cancers, cardiovascular diseases, as well as other chronic diseases. We also provided regular physical activity models based on the recommendations by World Health Organization, which can be a reference for college students to provide instructions for their older family members. Following our models, it is expected that the students will not only learn the knowledge and skills to engage in lifelong regular physical activity, but also become capable of helping their elder family members to participate in regular activity. This model is expected to reduce the prevalence of various aging-related diseases in elderly and ease the overall burden of health cost, which will surely lead to vast benefit to this rapidly aging society in Taiwan. |
