中文摘要 | 宗教傳播進入台灣本土後,因文化及環境的差異影響,逐漸發展出不同的建築風格,教堂空間形式與宗教符號運用也隨著時間有了不一樣的演化。真耶穌教會目前是台灣基督新教的第二大教派,近年由於教友人數增加,教會的空間及敬拜的路徑也有向上提升的改變。本文是以設計者角度研究,藉由真耶穌教會建堂實例案,探討秉持宗教意象所設計出符合現代化功能及使用機能的教堂空間。本研究最終達成從參與的四個實質案例中,將宗教組織的教義,抽離符號的建構解析其意義的連結,從表面結構之下的宗教意涵,以實務設計案例發展出設計符號的沿用結果。重新認識符號與象徵,研究追溯符號的演變過程,作為日後宗教空間規劃的參考依據。 |
英文摘要 | After their localization in Taiwan, religions have often gradually developed different architectural styles, spatial forms, and religious symbolism, which have evolved with time under the influence of the culture and environment. The True Jesus Church is currently the second largest new Christian sect in Taiwan. Because of an increase in the number of church members in recent years, church space and worship pathways have been increased. This paper looks at examples of church construction by the True Jesus Church from the perspective of a designer in order to investigate church spaces that bear religious imagery while simultaneously designed to fulfill modern roles and practical functions.This study ultimately develops an account of the continued usage of design symbolism in four actual design cases from examination of the religious implications of surface structures and the linkage between religious doctrine and the symbolic meaning of architectural structures. The new understanding of symbols and signs, and the process of symbolic evolution, obtained in this study can serve as a reference for the future planning of religious spaces. |
