中文摘要 | 國際化與全球化的潮流衝擊之下,英語已成為各國間經濟、文化、學術與科技交流時使用最頻繁的語言,因此專業翻譯人才的需求大幅增加;我國政府為了提升國際競爭力,近年來更是特別重視專業翻譯人員的養成,而中英文互譯能力幾乎已被視為檢驗語言學習成果的指標之一。 譯者除了要具備深厚的雙語知識之外,從事翻譯時所應該關注的焦點是雙語間意義層面的對應轉換,對來源語與目的語的語言結構及語用習慣知識若上足,翻譯的過程中就容易犯錯。因此, 大學裡的翻譯課除了理論的傳授之外,實務方面更佔了相當高的比重。筆者授課中經常發現學生在翻譯實況練習時問題相當多,為了探討問題的癥結所在,本研究以學生課堂上練習及課後作業的英-中筆譯為例,舉出他們翻譯的過程中所遭遇到的難題及容易犯的錯誤,如詞彙的多義性、句型結構、語序等。同時,本文也針尊相關的各項問題作分析、討論,並嘗試提出教學上的解決方法與改進建議。 |
英文摘要 | Under the impact of globalization, English has become the most common language used in economy, culture, academic, and technology exchanges. Therefore, the demand for professional translators is increasingly important. Because of the Taiwanese government’s effort to enhance Taiwan’s international competitiveness, not only has the training of professional translators received high priority, the ability of Chinese-English translation has also become one of the methods used for evaluating language learning achievements. The quality of translation lies in translator’s adequate knowledge of both source and target languages. During the teaching activities, the authors found that students encounter many problems in translation practices. In order to find the crux, this article lists some of students’ errors and translation examples to demonstrate the general problems with which the students are confronted, and analyze them, discussing each one. This article also provides problem solving and skills improving suggestions for translation teaching. |
