中文摘要 | 明末清初學術思想史中,呂留良(1629-1683)是位具有相當影響力的知名人物。在文化方面的表現視之,呂留良不僅著書立說、評選文章,同時更扮演著書商和藏書家等多元的角色。呂留良學宗上標榜著承繼「孔孟程朱」一脈而來的儒家正統,並且深受時人的看重。不過,從清官方的立場所見,呂留良卻遭到極為嚴厲的打壓。其主因係為雍正(1678-1735,在位1722-1735)朝期間生員曾靜(1679-1735)與其弟子張熙(?-1735)在「逆書案」被捕時,供稱他們的反清思想是源自呂留良的著作。使得已故四十五年的呂留良蒙受莫名的波及,遭到「戮屍梟示」的命運,其家人和弟子亦受到斬首、流放等處置。自此之後,清政府亦積極禁查呂留良的著作,並貶抑其學術成就。大多數人對呂留良的既定印象,便是繼承上述的觀點,將他視為講求「夷夏之防」的民族主義者、種族主義者,其中又以雍正皇帝親撰的《大義覺迷錄》影響了當時及後世極大的觀感。然而,這樣的片面形象卻掩蓋了呂留良的其他成就。面對改朝換代的世變中,被大眾一貫視為深富民族情操的抗清儒士呂留良,究竟他心中理想的「天下」內涵該當如何?是否即合乎於所謂的「華夷之辯」標準,或是有著其他的特色內涵?此不但應視為討論的重要議題,亦是明清之際士人研究所應予以釐清之處。本文以呂留良闡述自我思想的重要文字─《呂晚邨先生四書講義》一書作為分析的文本,檢視他如何自學術思想的範疇看待「天下」,以及他所認為的「天下」應該有如何的標準。藉由對「天下」議題的討論,期待得與易鼎下的明清時空背景進行呼應,於呂留良的思想研究上,也可達到更清晰和細緻的呈現。 |
英文摘要 | Lü Liuliang (呂留良, 1629-1683) was a very important Confucian during the Ming-Qing transition. In academic thought, he agreed with the School of Principle (理學), and strongly opposed to the Buddhism, Taoism, and the School of Mind (心學). Lü's reputation has been known to the world, especially Zeng Jing case (曾靜案), which makes Emperor Yongzheng believe that Lü has intention of anti-Qing sentiment (反清), even though he has been dead for more than fifty years ever since that time. And, therefore, Lü becomes an ideal for those who anti-Qing rebels.According to my former research, Lü has no intention of anti-Qing sentiment at all. Furthermore, Lü's academic achievement should not be underestimated because of the accusation of anti-Qing sentiment. In this article, I will analyze Lü's literary work-Commentaries on the Four Books, and try to discuss the idea of "Tianxia" (天下) in his mind. |
