中文摘要 | 海底產生火山爆發的噴流極可能產生海嘯。本文主旨即應用Chang and Wang(2011)發展之三維通用的完全非線性勢能流水波模式,探討底床瞬間射流產生之波動。流場模式建立基於勢能流函數,數值格網為貼壁座標,可順應自由液面動變,數值方法以隱式有限差分法求解勢能流流場,而自由液面邊界條件以混合之顯/隱法疊代處理。模式計算底床直徑D=2(兩倍靜水深)之往上垂直噴流口,以福祿數F(基於射流速度及線性長波波速之無因次參數)之噴流速度所產生之不同波動特性之討論。由結果顯示底床噴射流所引發的波動將形成往外擴散傳遞的圓柱孤立波列。數值分析噴流所形成的瞬間最大波高及前首波之圓柱孤立波傳遞特性與線性理論的解析解比較結果可得一致的趨勢。 |
英文摘要 | The eruption of an underwater volcano can usually generate a tsunami, called volcanogenic tsunami. The theme of this paper is to apply the three-dimensional (3-D) fully nonlinear wave model by Chang and Wang (2011) to analyze the wave motions created by a sudden jet in the sea bottom. A transient boundary-fitted coordinate system is introduced to conveniently adjust the grids according to the transient moving free surface. The Laplace equation for the velocity potential is solved by an implicit finite-difference algorithm. A mixed explicit/implicit iteration procedure is applied to solve the free-surface boundary conditions. Numerical simulations for the wave motion generated by a jet from the bottom circular opening with D = 2 to erupt a uniform vertical velocity (Froude number, F, normalized based on the dimensional characteristics of linear-long-wave celerity and still water depth) are computed. The results indicate that the waves generated from the bottom jet will scatter outward into a system of cylindrical solitary waves. The 3-D wave pattern with various F are presented and discussed. The maximum height of the initial impulsive wave and the properties of amplitude decaying of the leading wave are in agreement with the approximated theoretical solutions. |
