中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討中部地區幼兒電視收視行為與健康情形的相關性,採問卷調查方式進行探究,以自編幼兒電視收視行為與健康情形之調查問卷作為本研究之工具,以多階段簡單隨機抽樣方式抽取苗栗縣、臺中市、臺中縣、彰化縣、南投縣以及雲林縣共六個縣市1,063 位4~6 足歲之幼兒,研究中採描述性及推論性統計方法進行分析。本研究結論如下:一、中部地區幼兒之電視收視行為為良好的情況。二、女生、正常體型及沒有近視的幼兒,其電視收視行為分別比男生、其他體型、有近視的幼兒佳;臺中市幼兒的電視收視行為比其他縣市的幼兒佳;一週中收看5 天以下電視的幼兒,其電視收視行為優於一週收看6 天及7 天電視的幼兒;平日收看電視1 小時以下、假日收看2 小時以下的幼兒,其電視收視行為優於平日收看超過1 小時以上、假日收看超過2 小時以上的幼兒;家中只有1台電視機、電視機沒有放在餐廳及主臥房、沒有裝設有線電視的幼兒,其電視收視行為,比家中擁有2 台電視機以上、電視機放在餐廳及主臥房、家中裝設有線電視的幼兒佳。三、幼兒背景變項中以幼兒體型對其電視收視行為之預測力最高。四、電視收視行為對幼兒之身體、心理、社會健康以及幼兒健康情形總量表皆具預測能力,其中又以幼兒健康情形總量表的解釋力最高。最後,研究者根據本研究結果提出若干建議,以供幼兒照顧者及學前教育機構之參考。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between television (TV)viewing behavior and health status among children. The questionnaire survey methodwas adopted. The research tool was a self-developed questionnaire titled “survey onTV viewing behavior and health status of children”. Based on multi-stage simplerandom sampling, this study selected a total of 1,063 children aged between 4~6 fromsix cities/counties in central Taiwan, including Miaoli County, Taichung City,Taichung County, Changhua County, Nantou County, and Yunlin County. Datacollected from these children were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferentialstatistics. The main results found are as follows: 1. Children’s TV viewing behaviorshowed good status. 2. (1) Girls, with a normal body build, without near-sightednessof children had better TV viewing behavior than boys, those with other types of bodybuilds, with near-sightedness. (2) Children living in Taichung City had better TVviewing behavior than children living in other cities and counties. (3) Children whowatched TV no more than five days a week had better TV viewing behavior than whowatched TV 6-7 days a week. (4) Children who watched TV less than one hour a day,less than two hours on a holiday had better TV viewing behavior than those whowatched TV more than one hour a day, more than two hours on a holiday. (5) Childrenwith only one TV set in the household, no TV set placed in the dining room or thebedroom, no access to cable TV had better TV viewing behavior than those with twoor more TV sets in the household, with a TV set placed in any of the two places, withaccess to cable TV. 3. The variable of children’s body builds could best predictchildren’s TV viewing behavior. 4. Children’s TV viewing behavior had predictingpower for their physical, mental, and social health as well as overall health status.Among these aspects, children’s overall health status could be better explained bychildren’s TV viewing behavior. According to the study outcomes, some concretesuggestions were brought up as references for caregiver and preschool settings. |
