中文摘要 | 本研究之目的旨在探討改良式側背包改善輕度原發性脊椎側彎效果的可行性。在台灣中小學學生中,隨著年齡增長,患有脊椎側彎的學生比例隨之增加,其中一項原因可能是側背包設計不良所致。脊椎側彎不僅造成患者外觀難看外,由於過度的變形彎曲會影響心肺及內臟功能,這對學童之身心健康影響深遠,因此,改善台灣中小學學生脊椎側彎現象有其必要性與迫切性。由於側背包是台灣地區中小學生共通普遍使用的書包類型。因此,由改良設計側背包改善原發性脊椎側彎現象,是本研究此次最主要的研究目的。本次研究的實驗變數為背掛方式,此實驗變數包括低背與雙肩背等兩水準。實驗受測者為具輕度原發性脊椎側彎現象的國小生、國中生以及高中生各 3位。實驗評量指標為脊椎側彎角度(量測方式以脊椎側彎度數儀計,單位為度)。而用來量測受測者脊椎側彎角度的工具,則是 X光檢驗以及 Cobb氏量角法。實驗結果顯示,對台灣地區高中、國中與國小學生而言,改良式側背包的低背方式以及雙肩背方式,同樣使受測者之脊椎側彎角度由原先的 6-8度範圍降低至 1-3度範圍,而且低背方式的改善效果比雙肩背方式更佳。這意味,低背方式以及雙肩背方式同樣具有改善原發性脊椎側彎現象的效益。因此,本研究建議,可採用低背或是雙肩背的策略設計側背包,以便改善台灣地區中等及初級學生的原發性脊椎側彎。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to test the feasibility of a shoulder bag to prevent idiopathic scoliosis. For students in Taiwan, 3.7% of cases of idiopathic scoliosis were primary school students and 6.7% of them were junior high and senior high school students. This implies that we can not overemphasize the importance of idiopathic scoliosis prevention since it may affect the health and growth of the students in Taiwan. In this study, we propose a shoulder bag with a multi-fulcrum strap as a solution to prevent idiopathic scoliosis. A one factor experiment was designed to test the feasibility of a multi-fulcrum strap shoulder bag to prevent idiopathic scoliosis. Nine participants (including three primary school students, three junior high school students and three senior high school students) were selected using a scoliometer. In addition, the X-ray examination and Cobb’s Angle were used to measure the vertebra bending angles on both sides when the students put on the multi-fulcrum strap shoulder bag and when they did not. The experiment results show that (1) the vertebra side bending angle has obviously decreased from the angle range of 6-8 degrees to 1-3 angle range when the students put on the multi-fulcrum strap shoulder bag using the ways of lower back hanging and twin-side shoulder hanging. (2) When the students put on the multi-fulcrum strap shoulder bag by lower back hanging, the vertebra side bending angle obviously decreased. These experiment results implied that (1) both ways of lower back hanging and twin-side shoulder hanging help a shoulder bag to prevent idiopathic scoliosis, (2) and the way of lower back hanging works better than the way of twin-side shoulder hanging when using a shoulder bag to prevent idiopathic scoliosis. Therefore, this study suggests that the industrial designers adopt the concept of a multi-fulcrum strap and lower back hanging to design a shoulder bag to help the students in Taiwan to prevent idiopathic scoliosis. |
