英文摘要 | Recently, Southeast Asian Communities play crucial role in Taiwan society. Past studies have focused on the Southeast communities' landscapes of consumption as example to illustrate ethic economic, community identity and different communities' politics of interaction. However, these studies neglected the existence of strangeness that should be important quality of Southeast communities and their landscapes of consumption. Thus, trying to propose an analysis framework, this article pays more attention to stranger sociology and theoretical concept of cultural spectacle. On the basis of this framework, this thesis analyzes Spectacle of Myanmar Cuisine Court in Zhonghe Dist. in order to reinterpret implication of Southeast Asian Landscapes of Food Consumption. Based on this case study, this paper try to explain how Spectacle of Myanmar Cuisine Court in Zhonghe Dist. could transform social stigma into a popular landscape of Southeast Asian community's consumption in Taiwan society. Moreover, we also attempt to clarify that how did Myanmar Chinese community shift their strangeness to performativity? How did Myanmar Chinese Community alter their identities of strangers to become actors' identities? |
