中文摘要 | 本研究主旨在研究技職體系學生老化知識與對老人態度是否會因其性別及學習階段不同而有所差異,具體目的主要聚焦於:1.了解不同個人背景變項技職體系學生「老化知識」及「對老人態度」之現況;2.分析不同個人背景變項技職體系學生在「老化知識」上的差異情形;3.分析不同個人背景變項技職體系學生在「對老人態度」上的差異情形;及4.探究技職體系學生「老化知識」與「對老人態度」的相關情形。為達上述研究目的,本研究採取問卷調查法,以「技職體系「老化知識及對老人態度」問卷為研究工具,以立意抽樣方式,抽取兩所高職10班學生共及2所科技大學6班學生,合計共得有效問卷 749份,實際回收有效問卷率為 90.3%。採取描述統計、t考驗及皮爾森積差相關分析等統計方法,進行資料分析與考驗研究假設。 本研究之結論有:1.技職體系學生老化知識及對老人態度之認知現況良好。2.技職體系男性學生在老化知識之「社會老化」表現優於女性。3.科技大學學生與高職生的老化知識並無差異存在。4.技職體系學生「對老人態度」整體及分層面上大部分存在性別差異。5.科技大學學生「對老人態度」在「心智能力」表現優於高職生。6.技職體系學生之「老化知識」愈豐富「對老人態度」愈正向。並提出四點具體建議,作為提升技職體系學生老化知識及對老人態度之參考:1.技職體系學校應規劃提供相關課程,加強技職體系學生社會老化知識。2.加強宣導,提供互動機會,提升技職體系學生對老人心智能力態度之表現。3.提升技職體系女性學生的老化知識,改變其對老人的態度。4.對技職體系學生宣導高齡化社會中老化教育的重要性。 |
英文摘要 | This research examines if differences exist in aging and attitude toward the elderly due to gender differences and learning stages of technical system students. The main purposes of the research are: 1.Understanding the knowledge about aging and attitude toward the elderly of technical system students from different backgrounds; 2.analyzing the impact of technical system students from different backgrounds on their aging knowledge; and 3.investigating the influence of technical system students from different backgrounds on their attitude toward the elderly; 4.Explore the relationship between technical system students’ aging knowledge and attitude toward the elderly. The data were collected from technical system students by purposive sampling from 2 schools and resulted in 749 returned (90.3%). t test and Pearson correlation analysis were applied to analyze the hypotheses. The conclusions of are as follows: 1. The knowledge about aging and attitude toward the elderly of technical system students are high-intermediate. 2. There is a significant difference in the ‘aging society’ regarding gender, indicating that male students’ aging knowledge is better than females’. 3. In terms of aging knowledge, there is no difference among the technical university students and vocational students. 4. The gender difference exists in the attitude toward the elderly whether from general or specific levels. 5. Technology university students’ performance is better regarding the intellectual abilities in the attitude toward the elderly. 6. The relationship between “the knowledge about aging” and “the attitude toward the elderly” is positive correlated. The study also provides four practical suggestions for improving the attitudes and knowledge toward the elderly of technical systems: (1) the technical systems may provide relevant courses to strengthen the knowledge of technical system students concerning aging society; (2) The technical system students’ attitudes and interaction toward elderly may be encouraged; (3) increase the female students’ aging knowledge to adjust the attitudes toward the elderly; (4) The importance of aging education may be emphasized to the technical system students. |
