中文摘要 | 本文選擇於太陽活動極大期5 個個案,進行地磁擾動對碰撞瑞利-泰勒不穩定線性生長率影響的研究。在1999 年7 月30 日的個案中,其生長率增加為地磁寧靜下參考值的2.6 倍。此一生長率的增加主要是由於F2 層峰高度與電子密度梯度標長倒數的增加所致。相反地,在1999 年9 月12 日與22 日的個案中, 其生長率顯著地小於地磁寧靜下參考值。在這2 個個案中生長率的減少主要是由於F2 層峰高度的降低所致。除此之外,在1999 年9 月26 日與12 月31 日的個案中,其生長率近似地磁寧靜下參考值。因此地磁擾動對其生長率沒有明顯的影響。由以上的結果可得知,地磁擾動對碰撞瑞利-泰勒不穩定線性生長率的影響是依個案不同而有所差異的。 |
英文摘要 | This study chooses 5 cases under geomagnetic disturbed conditions to investigate the effects of geomagnetic disturbance on local linear growth rate (γ) of collisional Rayleigh-Taylor (CR-T) instability. In the case at 30 July 1999, the γ value is 2.6 times the associated quiet-condition reference value. This increase in γ is mainly due to the increases in F2-peak height (hmF2) and inverse gradient density scale length (L-1). In contrast, at 12 and 22 September 1999, the γ value is obviously smaller than the associated quiet-condition reference value. The smaller γ values are mainly because the geomagnetic disturbances lower the hmF2. In addition, the growth rates in the cases of 26 September and 31 December 1999 are not affected by the geomagnetic disturbances. The γ values are close to the associated quiet-condition reference value. The results of 5 cases show that the effects of geomagnetic disturbance on the local linear growth rate of CR-T instability are variable. |
