英文摘要 | Pre-school children naturally explore their bodies and interact with others through game-like programs. Self-confidence and interest in exercise are expected to be developed by engaging in these programs. Fundamental capabilities are also enhanced by physical activity-based game-like programs. The purpose of this study was primarily to investigate the physical, psychological and social benefits of physical activity-based game-like programs for pre-school children. Furthermore, a safe, effective and fun-filled physical activity-based game-like program was designed and choreographed by the author to illustrate the stages, contents and objectives of such a program. Literature review was utilized as a method to describe the physical, psychological and social benefits of physical activity-based game-like programs for pre-school children. Based on the information from the literature review, a number of teaching tips and suggestions were provided to the exercise leaders and pre-school teachers. This study concluded that children's positive physical activity experiences needed while growing up could be constructed by taking part in physical activity-based game-like programs. The pre-school educators are expected to be able to provide well-designed and diversified exercise programs which take into consideration of a number of factors, including the pre-school children's stages of development, individual differences and the types of teaching environment, so that the pre-school children's health can be improved. |
