| 英文摘要 | It was recorded in Yu-Yin Jiang's "Taiwan Prefecture Annals" that 'Turuboan Tribe had a gold mine'. "Taiwan Miscellany" stated that 'Jinshan is behind Sanchao River and Keelung Mountain'. "Zhu-Luo County Annals" said that 'there is a gold mine in Neishanxigang of Kavalan'. The above three books were all completed during the KangXi period. These three places are all part of Zhu-Luo County, and gold mining was already well-known in the early Qing Dynasty. This article chronologically discusses legends about gold mining everywhere from north to south, respectively: Keelung, where the Qing Government established Bureau of Gold, is the evidence that gold mining from the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty were not merely a dream of gold rush; Kavalan: the purported place of gold dust had been quite blurred, and it was clearly pointed out that 'it is today's Zhuo-Shui River in Kavalan'; Jinshan was still a mysterious legend; Turuboan: there is no lack of Chinese and Western literature documenting gold mining here. However, under the county-administration of the Qing Dynasty, it was still an indistinct geographical noun. |
