中文摘要 | 本研究主要目的在比較二位低社經地位家庭但表現良好新移民女性子女的共同點,藉以分析 這些共同點對新移民女性子女正向發展的意義。資料收集的主要方法為透過深度訪談及觀察來探 究幼兒生活中的不利因子,以及幼兒的各項表現、人格特性、社會關係以及生活中的重要經驗。 藉由這些了解,分析二位表現良好新移民女性子女的共同點,以及這些共同點對幼兒良好表現的 意義。研究結果發現:幼兒英俊的外表、温和的個性以及傑出的學業能力表現,增強了幼兒人力 資本的優勢,進一步增強幼兒的社會關係,使得幼兒可以藉由良好的社會關係得到情感、人力上 的支援,進而增加幼兒本身的社會資本。此外,幼兒的家庭雖然經濟不佳,且父母教育程度不高 ,但用心教養幼兒,再加上大家庭中家人的互相幫忙,彌補了原先家庭中人力資本的不足,變相 地增加了家庭中的社會資本。換句話說,幼兒及本身的優勢及家庭成員的用心教養及互相幫助, 增加了幼兒對抗不利因素的人力資本及社會資本,這些資本的增加有助於幼兒的正向發展。文末 提出對幼教教育人員、研究者及政策制定者相關的建議。 |
英文摘要 | The main purpose of this study was to study common points among new female immigrants’ children who displayed outstanding performance, and further to analyze the meaning of the common points to children’s outstanding performance. Qualitative research methods including interview and observation were used to investigate risk factors in children’s lives and to understand children’s performance, personal characteristic, social relationship and essential experience. The results showed that: although many risk factors in new Taiwanese children’s lives, the advantages of children’s handsome appearance, gentle personality, and strong ability enhanced children’s human capital. The increase of children’s human capital further enhanced children’s social relationship, which helped children attracted people and resource to support their positive development, and further enhanced their social capital. Moreover, in spite of economic hardship and low educational levels, children’s parents strived to provide children with good learning environment. Also, living in large family, family members’ assistance raised family’s human capital and social capital. With the increase of human capital and social capital, children’s positive development and learning were enhanced. In the final part, research provided early childhood educators, researchers, and policy makers with some suggestions. |
