英文摘要 | Google launched its streetview service in 2007, the scope of the service and actual practical application has gradually widened, consequently catalyzing the tendency of integrating streetview service with geographic information. The coordinates of topographical features can be calculated through directly obtaining precise data position and orientation of each image at the instance the photo was taken. This is done using advanced vehicle mobile mapping system, which integrates multiple cameras, GPS receiver, with inertial navigation unit, then combining the matching distinct characteristics of calibration parameters and the spacing image. In comparison to traditional surveys this provides a more efficient way of obtaining a large amount of data at a faster rate, using less manpower.The interface of traditional GIS are 2D maps and abstract symbols are used to display spatial information. To compound, the majority of the images have been orthorectified, presupposing the viewer’s perspective to be aerial, ultimately requiring some learning before being able to read a map or use the GIS service. Streetview are the most direct portrayal of the space used in people’s day to day lives. GIS is a virtual space stored very rich geographic information from real world. These two types of system are integrated through virtual and augmented reality techniques, providing a new platform for displaying geographic information, for instance the measurement of distance, 3D animation, and providing information of stores on the streetview. The new Technology allows the users to easily obtain information while viewing at ground level. With the advancement of related technology, streetview can be augmented with various types of geographic information, which allow users to get more exploration. |
