中文摘要 | 柳杉(Cryptomeria japonica)造林木有紅色及黑色心材材質兩種情形,黑色心材造成木材加工及使用上的問題,因此,本研究的目的是探討三個生育地柳杉造林木紅色及黑色心材的材質及差異,結果發現柳杉造林木黑色心材與紅色心材之間的木材密度、抗彎強度、抗彎彈性模數、抗壓強度、動彈性模數等物理性質,統計分析後發現紅色與黑色心材樣木之間,並沒有顯著性的差異存在。溪頭營林區、和社營林區及內茅埔營林區等三個生育地之間的柳杉造林木材質,具有顯著性差異存在,柳杉造林木紅色及黑色心材的材質主要受不同生育地環境而影響。不同的木材物理性質在柳杉樹幹內部徑向具有不同的變異性。不同的物理性質之間具有極顯著性的正相關性存在,抗彎彈性模數及動彈性模數是預測抗彎強度及抗壓強度較佳的參數。研究結果發現不同生育地對柳杉材質有很大的影響,黑色心材沒有絕對比紅色心材有較高的材質表現,因此建議不同地域的柳杉需要分別取樣評估,以提供林業經營及利用之參考。 |
英文摘要 | Wood of Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) plantation has red and black heartwood in Taiwan, while the wood processing and utilization for black heartwood are thought to be an problematic issue. It is necessary to understand the wood quality and difference between black and red heartwood tree for wood utilization. The purpose of this study is to investigate the wood properties of Japanese cedar plantation with red and black heartwood. The results showed that average wood density, bending strength, modulus of elasticity, compressive strength, and dynamic modulus of elasticity values of red and black heartwood did not differ significantly. However, the silvicultural sites, including Xi-Tou, He-She, and Nei-Mao-Pu areas, significantly affected wood properties for both red and black heartwood, where the modulus of elasticity and dynamic modulus of elasticity were important variables for evaluating the bending strength and compressive strength and there were also significant positive relationships among wood physical properties. Our results concluded that the wood quality of Japanese cedar plantation was not affected by red-or black-heartwood, but influenced by silvicultural sites. These results suggest that the wood properties of Japanese cedar plantation with red and black heartwood tree under different silvicultural sites should be characterized in order to utilize wood resource effectively. |
