中文摘要 | 根據市場研究指出,超過60%的行動通訊比率皆發生在室內,因此對於室內的覆蓋率及傳輸品質的提升,將是電信業者的重要議題。微小型基地台(Femtocell Access Point)網路的提出,將可有效的解決覆蓋率及傳輸品質。隨著Femtocell建置的普及之後,通訊量將會大幅度的增加,因此一些區域性的通訊,將必須經由區域端的設備處理,以減少對於行動核心網路的負擔。3GPP TR 23.889提出了Local Call Local Switch機制,經由局端設備(e.g., Femtocell AP或Base Station Subsystem)直接處理語音資料的繞送,以減少核心網路之負擔。然而這些機制並未考慮當通話跨越不同的局端設備時,如何在不同局端設備之間識別為同一通的通話連線,以有效的建立區域轉接(Local Switch)連線。本論文進行多重微小型基地台間之區域電話轉接機制之研究,並提出三種實作方案,在不修改現有行動裝置及核心網路之條件下,進行區域轉接繞送,以提升網路系統之效能及降低行動核心網路之負荷。 |
英文摘要 | Several market research reports indicate that about 50% of voice calls and more than 60% of the wireless traffic data originate in the indoor environment, and to improve the radio coverage and transmission quality indoors becomes an import issue for wireless telecommunication. One possibility is to deploy the femtocell access points (FAPs). The local call local switch (LCLS) mechanism that offloads the user data directly by the base station subsystem (BSS) is proposed by 3GPP to reduce the large overhead in mobile core network (CN). However, the 3GPP LCLS mechanism is designed for those communicating mobiles within one BSS, and the FAP plays the role as the small BSS. The 3GPP LCLS mechanism cannot support the communications among FAPs. To support the LCLS service among different FAPs, we propose our LCLS mechanism in this paper.
