中文摘要 | 當如何為減緩碳排放量成為全球關注的議題時,具有高能源效率的高速鐵路儼然成為新興的具低碳排放的公眾運輸。然而,目前在高速鐵路的車廂內,無線網路仍然無法提供寬頻上網連結,達到真正通訊無縫隙的願景。主要的技術瓶頸在於高速移動環境對於無線網路系統效能具有嚴正的影響與在極短時間內需要多次換手執行。本論文中,我們呈現與研究Mobile WiMAX系統於高速鐵路環境下,結合光纖無線電分散式天線系統之效能。我們提出的WiMAX-RoF系統,具有訊號均勻分佈與避免換手執行的優點。然而,訊號均勻分佈範圍,也就是實體光纖佈放長度主要是受限於Mobile WiMAX系統的分時多工(Time-Division-Duplex; TDD)協定的規範。因此本論文將會驗證線型WiMAX-RoF結構與實際高鐵環境隧道段場測的實驗,分析不同光纖長度下系統效能,包括了傳輸效能(TCP Throughput)測試與封包遺漏測試結果。 |
英文摘要 | High speed railway is an attractive transportation for high energy efficiency and low carbon when cutting-carbon becomes a global issue. However, trains have been one location where passengers have not necessarily been able to achieve broadband Internet connections and the vision of seamless wireless communication. The critical challenges are high speed, severe environment, and several handovers in a short period of time. In this investigation, we propose and investigate the Mobile WiMAX access in high speed railway (HSR) using radio over fiber (RoF) link. The main features of the WiMAX-RoF system are uniform coverage of signal strength and no handover requirement. However, the distance of the uniform coverage of signal strength, exactly the effective transmission fiber length in the WiMAX-RoF system was limited due to the time-division-duplex (TDD) protocol in the practical WiMAX. Thus, we evaluate the performances of the Mobile WiMAX access in RoF link in THSR environments using different fiber lengths. Furthermore, a WiMAX-RoF field trial is also demonstrated based on a line-shaped RAUs RoF architecture. The performances of TCP throughputs and packet loss at different fiber lengths are also investigated and discussed. |
