英文摘要 | The concept of the station design of Xinchuan Line in Taipei city is not only following the requirements of safety, comfort and convenience for the first stage of Taipei MRT but also incorporating with the “Ten Billion Down Size Program” to reduce the size of the station. In addition, the station shall completely incorporate with the local environmental features (including the entrances, ventilation shaft, interior design, outside landscape and lighting equipment, etc.). Through this, the first experience of the passengers when they step in the station will be an integrated and continuous art space from the outside to the inside. Through the outlined introduction of the station design of the Xinchuan Line in Taipei City, an acknowledge that it is totally different from the design of the Mucha and Danshui Lines which requested a consistence can be reached. The design of the station is totally integrated with the ambient neighborhood so that the identification and self-explanation of the environment will be a feature of the design of the future MRT station. In addition, it can be expected, through this change and innovation, which the passengers can enjoy the change and the integration of the space provided by the station design, not only the convenience and the comfort of the MRT. It is opening a new page of the MRT design. |
