英文摘要 | In the i-Taiwan 12 projects, the Intelligent transportation System (ITS) with many system deployments was selected as one of the National Development Plans. Although the hardware investments in ITS development in every city/county had reached a certain scale in recent years, in response to the 5 cities gaining special municipally status at then the end of this year, the responsibilities and integrated applications of these hardware resources will become emerging issues. Cloud Computing has the potential to provide the solution for integrating ITS deployment. The enormous traffic detection data could use cloud computing to improve the service efficiency and the capacity of real time traffic information, and even to solve the problem of reduplicate investment on software and hardware in control centers. |
