中文摘要 | 面對高雄縣市合併的未來,城市的族群類型與關係將更為多樣性與複雜性,為尋求一個和諧、相互尊重與依賴的城市生活之理想,教育可扮演重要的角色與功能。本文之目的即在分析達成該一理想之目標時,城市政府與教育人員的作為。 文中研究者首先概略地描述族群關係的意義、類型、族群關係與教育的互動。族群關係的意識型態影響教育的作為,透過教育活動亦能建構某種類型之族群關係。多元文化主義的族群關係在探詢彼此了解與互動的途徑,並建立對差異的尊重。多元文化主義強調各族群間的互動,以及他們對這個國家的貢獻,因此該一理論頗能符合多元族群城市的需要。 基於此,本研究以多元文化教育的觀點,分別從教育人員的信念、學習學生的文化與生活經驗、課程教材上的實踐、教師教學上的實踐等四個層面分析城市政府與教育人員的教育實踐,使能建立一個和諧、尊重與公平的城市生活,進而達成多元文化主義的族群關係。 |
英文摘要 | When Kaohsiung county and city be combined at the end of 2010, its diversity and complexity of group will increase. Constructinga harmonious, mutual respective ethnic relation will be the goal of the governance of Kaohsiung city. This paper aims to analyze the educational practices which the educators should do for arriving the goal of Kaohsiung city. Three kind ethnic relation, they are as similation, melting pot, multiculturalism. The idealology of ethnic relation affects the educational affairs , and the education practicescan shapea ethnic relation. The ethnic relation of Multiculturalism emphasizes respecting differences, understandings between ethnics, and reducing the prejudice and discrimination toward one group, so multicultural education wouldanswer the need of Kaohsiung city. Be based on the perspectives of multicultural education, this papranalyze fourthings (possessing thebelieves of multicultural educators, learning the culture and experiences of students, designing curriculum and instructional materials, planning multicultural teaching) the educators must practice in Kaohsiung city. When the educators practice multicultural education, the ethnic relation of Multiculturalism maybe reached. |
