中文摘要 | 目的:本文以三房兩廳的典型公寓作為代表,模擬建築物中之氣流流動與污染物擴散傳播,探 討環境菸煙對居住環境室內空氣品質之影響。 方法:本研究以美國NIST(National Institute of Standards and Technology)所發展的多區域網路 模型CONTAM作為分析工具,分析典型公寓在不同的風向、風速、吸菸者及室內空氣清淨機位置等 各種環境變因對暴露濃度與污染物排除速率之影響。 結果:本研究發現風向對於降低暴露濃度有最大影響力,提升風速也如預期的一般可降低濃 度,吸菸者位置也會明顯改變濃度大小,然而室內空氣清淨機對降低菸害濃度僅有微幅效應。另外 風向、風速及吸菸位置也都會改變菸害的影響範圍、濃度與移除效率。 結論:風向為影響建築物自行稀釋排除污染物質的關鍵因素,改變風速所能得到的改善效果 則非常有限。若以所能降低的尖峰濃度值來看,室內空氣清淨機的改善效果與有效處理風量及空間 大小有關。本研究雖以環境菸煙為研究對象,但在強調節能減碳的時代,良好的居住環境應兼顧建 築節能與室內空氣品質之需求,所以從建築物自身污染物排除效率之觀點,本研究結果應可作為建 築物規劃與通風設計之參考。 |
英文摘要 | Objective: This study takes a typical 3-bedroom apartment as an example to simulate the airflow and contaminant dispersion, and investigate the impact of environmental tobacco smoke on the indoor air quality. Methods: The environmental tobacco smoke exposure of a typical apartment has been analyzed by using a multizone network model—CONTAM developed by NIST. The study includes the characteristics of contamination migrating patterns, purging efficiency of the room with natural ventilation and the efficacy of an indoor air cleaner. Results: For this specific building, the wind direction is one of the most crucial factors that can effectively reduce contamination concentration; compared with the wind direction, the wind speed is a much minor factor; both the wind direction and the smoker location affect the migrating patterns and purging duration significantly; a domestic indoor air cleaner can only marginally reduce the contamination concentration. Conclusion: The favorable wind direction can assist the building to dilute and remove the indoor contaminants efficiently. Increasing wind speed can only reduce the peak concentration by small amount. The efficacy of the indoor air cleaner is limited by two factors—the effective flow rate and the size of the room. In an era of energy conservation and carbon reduction, a good residential environment should compromise between energy conservation and indoor air quality. From the point of view of the building self-purging efficiency, the results of this study should provide a good reference in the building design and ventilation planning. |
