中文摘要 | 先秦道家老莊思想,司馬遷(約145-90 B.C.)於《史記》中認為他們的思想有其相續發展,後人亦多作如是觀。隨著現代學術的研析,老莊學思或有相績之處,然其分殊性亦是十分明顯的。以朱熹(1130-1200)的話講:「老子猶要做事,在莊子都不要做了」。(《朱子語類》卷125)以之論點談論「禮」,我們亦可見及老莊對之不同的見解。早期人們都認為道家主張順其自然,故老莊對儒家主張之禮乃是採取反對立場。然而,近年來部份學人卻一反過去認知的學風,陳述老莊對禮是有所肯定並加以立論,儼然與儒家立場一致而不衝突,差異僅在誰主張之禮才是「正統」。本文以為,與其陷於如是外緣面的陳述,不如直接就《老子》與《莊子》的文本,探究其對「禮」的認知及其評價,並對之作一對此,將可發現,老莊對「禮」之立場差異,朱熹所言即為注腳。全文區分三部份論述:一論老子(約600-500 B.C.)對「禮」的見解,論莊子(約369-286 B.C.)對「禮」的見解,三對比老莊對「禮」的認知與評價,並論其學思的差異。最後作一結論。 |
英文摘要 | According to the historian Sima-Qian in pre-Qin Daoist thought there is a continuous development from Laozi to Zhuangzi. This view has been the prevalent throughout the ages. But according to modern scholarship, there are not only continuities, but also some clear differences. This sort of view is already reflected in Zhu Xi's writings, when he says "Laozi is still doing something, Zhuangzi is not doing anything at all." From this perspective we can also discuss the role of the rituals in the Laozi and the Zhuangzi Formerly there was a consensus that Daoist thought preferred natural behavior over the artificial efforts of Confucian rituals, but recently some scholars maintain that the Daoists support the correct rituals This paper maintains that the discussion has to be brought back to the primary sources. It will discuss three questions. 1. The attitude of Laozi towards rituals. 2. The attitude of Zhuangzi towards rituals. 3. Compare these two attitudes. |
